24/09/2016 – Mt Matilda Walk Trail
We were lucky to have a weekend in September booked up for a wildflowers viewing weekend. The rains had come this year to Western Australia and everything pointed to it being a very good year for wildflowers.
I believe these are Isopogons, that at least is their genus name.
This is a beautiful view from Mt Matilda, with Isopogons in the foreground.
And some lovely yellow flowers here. Sorry, I don’t have the time to find out all of the names, if you know any, please fill in a ‘comment’.
Another view from Mt Matilda, I think this is the lake where we are having our ‘lamb on a spit’ tonight.
And yes, everybody appreciated the view and reached for their cameras.
I think they look even better when shown among the trees.
And even better when a few different colours are shown at once.
