6/07/2016 – Camping for the night

Where to camp this evening, we are looking for somewhere free, with other campers around but not too noisy.

No, this is not the campsite, but the river that runs just by Minilya, looking towards the bridge that is the main road south.  After we had the campervan sorted in the campground we had a walk along the river course.

Looking the other way.  Hard to imagine this place in flood, but the debris in the branches of trees tells the story, yes it does flood.  As always beautiful old gum trees abound.

Here we are, glad to have some flat ground for camping, others around for security and yet still in the bush, we can still hear the birds calling and twigs breaking in the night.

Throughout the night we can hear others pulling in and in the morning this is what the campsite looks like.  Still room for more.
