TRIP TO KARIJINI – PART 14

25/06/2016 – Knox Gorge

Another day, another gorge.

startofwalk

Julie’s way ahead getting photos of everyone clambouring down into the gorge.

gettingdown

It takes some time for us all to descend, and the rocks are wet and slippery.

knoxgorge

A look along Knox Gorge.

clambouring

Breathtaking and quite exhilarating, hard to know which way to look, the cliffs are amazing.

endofroad

We finally got to the end of the road, the sign says not to go any further and we were not tempted.

throughthegap

A better angle look through the rocks.

helpinghand

Back we go, some choose to swim.

cooloff

Plenty of spots invite swimming.

individual

Someone going off for a trot on their own.

majesticcliffs

Sorry, I just can’t stop showing pictures of those rock formations, they are stunning, even in the drab weather that we are having the colours and structure shows through.

keepgoing

More clambouring over and along rocks.

watchyourstep

Keep your eyes of your feet and don’t slip.  That’s me in the green/blue shirt and orange bag.

headingback

Back up and out of the gorge, a great day’s walk.
