29/05/2016 – Action Outdoors Association event

Starting at Sullivan Rock we head north on the Bibbulmun Track over Mounts Vincent and Cuthbert for a lunch stop at Monadnocks Hut and return. A couple of big climbs and the views to match will have the group gasping but it will all be worth it.

The first climb had most of us gasping, but the view was certainly worth it.

Luckily the morning tea stop wasn’t far off. The clouds are few and we can see for miles.

Soon we are all munching, nothing like a  brisk walk uphill to stir the appetite up.

We arrived at Mount Randall at the right time for lunch, so everyone is sitting down again.

View from the other side of Mount Randall.

I had managed to slip up a step and head bang a rock, causing a small cut that bled profusely but didn’t end up looking at all spectacular – too bad.  Lucky there were a few aspiring nurses around to clean me up and apply first aid so all good.

Some pretty templetonia by the rocks.

More pretty rockscape scenery.  Thanks Jo for organizing this lovely event.
