27/07/2014 A cycle ride with MeetUp group “Cycling for Fun”
“Nothing on for next weekend so let’s take an easy off road spin on the reserves trail. It’s a 44km round trip through some beautiful countryside around Perth.”
We met up at 8.30am at Bellevue RSL carpark. Marco was leading the group and so off we went to the Heritage Railway Reserve Trail.
Although gravel all the way, it is pretty easy cycling.
As you can see, it was a fairly wet day, but that didn’t stop us having a lot of fun. They were a really great bunch of people, and although we got wet and dry, then wet and dry, etc, we had a great ride.
Helped out by TWO coffee and pancake stops!!!! What a treat.
Cheryl, this is the one I am going to take you on soon.
Beautiful scenery, lots of water around and quite slippery roads, but good fun and lots of muddy spray.
The group minus two, and below, guess who had mudguards. Thanks Liz.
Good fun, must do this again!
