GLASSHOUSE MOUNTAINS

21/09/2013 The Glasshouse Mountains

I was very keen to get a bit closer to the Glasshouse Mountains having passed by them on numerous occasions and never got around to exploring them properly. So Rose planned a day for taking me there, we were joined by two of her Sue friends and an American lady who had just arrived in Australia the day before, being a friend of one of the Sue’s.

This is the sort of picture you get when your sister doesn't want her photo taken!!

This is what happens when you don't let someone take your photo, they get you in the end.

A lovely photo of Rose, why doesn’t she just co-operate?  There is another of the Glasshouse Mountains in the background, they are quite separate from each other. created by volcanic activity many thousands of years ago.

And here we are coming down, careful now, we don’t want any broken legs.  The morning was finished off with lunch at the Beerwah Pub, coconut prawns and salad, and for those crying out for amber refreshment, a few beers.  Thanks ladies for a great time.

Great photos. It is a lovely area. Rose is always a bit difficult to capture on camera.
